Ripley’s® Aquarium strives to make booking your school field trip as easy and convenient as possible. As always, you are welcome to call to book your trip, or, you can use our easy on-line reservation form.
Our educational rates are as follows:
- $6.50 per person for children in grades K-12 and additional chaperones
- $3.50 per person for all pre-school age children
- All bus drivers that transport children will receive free admission
- One teacher will be admitted free with every 10 paying students for grades K-12
- One teacher will be admitted free with every 5 paying preschool students
Ripley’s® Aquarium offers a wide variety of private, hands-on, educational programs for school groups that are all standards-based and grade level appropriate. These can be viewed in our “Classroom Overview” section. These classes are offered at your convenience by reservation only and cost an additional $1 per person. When you take a private class, you will receive a password to download all of our lesson plans that accompany programs and cover math, science, English and social studies.
Ripley’s® Aquarium also offers a school lunch program for school groups. The cost of this lunch is $4.50 per person and students will choose from chicken nuggets, hot dogs or pizza. All of these items are served with chips, cookies and a drink. The lunch program is also by reservation only. Our Feeding Frenzy snack bar will be open if your group decides not to participate in the lunch program.
Special Note to Teachers: We do ask that all students remain supervised in the aquarium. We want to insure that all of our school groups have a safe, fun and educational experience while visiting

Chaperone Policy - We will allow one adult chaperone admitted in at our chaperone rate of $6.50 per student. Any additional adults will pay regular admission. If a group requires one adult per child, we will not allow teacher hospitality comps.
Lunches - Final counts for lunch orders are due in writing two business days prior to your group arrival. Any changes not made will be your financial responsibilty.
